The City School celebrated International Women’s Day on March 8th, 2023 with full enthusiasm and fervour. The regional offices and campuses across the network were decorated in Women’s Day colours. The female employees were given souvenir gifts to honour and celebrate their contributions. The events were concluded with cake cutting ceremonies and photo sessions at the photo booths.
A social media campaign was also conducted to highlight the achievements of network partners and heads. Additionally, a panel talk was hosted on the theme ‘DigitAll: Innovation and Technology for Women Empowerment’. The panel discussion included women from different walks of life, such as Ramla Baig from Vakeel Online, Arsham Bari from Musawi, Dr. Sarah Alam from Tibbi, Ayesha Nasir, CEO of Scaryammi and gender rights activist Fatima Razzaq.
These activities were undertaken to celebrate and acknowledge the contribution of women and to raise awareness about the importance of gender equality.
