The City School Chenab Campus developed a botanical garden in the school premises on 26th May, 2021. This helps hone student’s attention, stimulate their cognitive skills and promote inquiry-based investigation.
To develop ownership, the students brought their own seeds and baby plants to initiate this botanical garden. The students observe growth of their plants every month and they are overjoyed to see fruits growing on plants. The students also water the plants and take care of them on a regular basis. They love learning about soil, plant types, growing and germinating seeds from the campus gardener which helps them learn about maintaining a garden on their own.
