The City School Model Town and Paragon campus conducted Tree Plantation drives on their campuses, in collaboration with The Rotary Club and Hara Bhara Pakistan.
The main objective of the activity was to encourage a collaborative approach among the students to make Pakistan green, develop an environmental awareness among the community, and form an association with different stakeholders at the local level, like government, private and cooperative partners.
The Rotary Club and Hara Bhara Pakistan donated 150 plants to each campus. The activity was conducted in two phases; in phase 1, the Rotary club, parents and students planted some saplings in the schools.
The second phase was focused on raising awareness, and some plants were gifted to the residents of the nearby communities, to encourage them to take responsibility for a greener Pakistan.
The enthusiasm and participation of the City School’s students in the tree plantation drives, has ensured that the future of a green Pakistan is in safe hands.
