Regional Choir Competition 2016

The Northern Region organised the Regional Choir Competition 2016 in Peshawar, D I Khan and Islamabad on 24, 27 and 29 September, respectively. The theme for the event was ‘Sing for Pakistan’ and it provided TCS students with an opportunity to showcase their talent and express their love for Pakistan.

Music teachers, representatives and choirs attended the contests. Mr Ali Amin Khan Gandapur (Provincial Revenue Minister, KPK) was the Chief Guest for the final event at D I Khan Campus and he announced cash prizes of Rs 15,000/-, Rs 10,000/- and Rs 5,000/- for 1st, 2nd and 3rd position holders.

The venues were decorated according to the theme and encouraging quotes by Quaid-e-Azam were displayed as well. Parents were impressed by the well-synchronised performances of the students.

Certificates and shields were presented to the winners and participants and the event ended with encouraging notes from the Chief Guests at all three venues.
