The City School Ravi Campus makes it to the semifinals of the Asian Regional Space Settlement Design Competition to be held in Delhi, India! This competition serves as the Asian semifinals for the International Space Settlement Design Competition held every year in July at the Kennedy Space Centre, Florida, US.

The Space Settlement Design Competition invites high school students to take up the role of aerospace industry engineers and design a city in space that can serve as a home for over 10,000 people. Students demonstrate creativity, technical competence, management skills, knowledge of the environment and space, teamwork and presentation techniques to face the challenges of designing a Space Settlement (Space Colony).

A delegation of highly esteemed judges and technical experts (including scientists and engineers from ISRO, Indian Engineering Industry, NASA, Boeing, US Space Command, etc.) help in running the competition and the final assessment of projects.
