PECHS Boys Graduation Ceremony 2013

It was an unforgettable and proud day for Senior-II students of The City School PECHS Boys Campus as they gathered together for their Graduation Ceremony on 22 November at a renowned hotel in Karachi.

The Graduation Ceremony 2013 started with a recitation from The Holy Qur’an, followed by the National Anthem and The City School Anthem. Certificates were conferred upon 60 graduates, including 31 high achievers from batches of the years 2011, 2012 and 2013.

Mr. Anwar Ahmed Zai, Chairman BISE Karachi and himself a noted scholar, writer of Urdu literature, educationalist and prolific orator, was the Chief Guest. He was accompanied by Mr. Aziz ur Rehman (Regional Counsellor International Dawah Academy Islamabad) as the Guest of Honour.  Also present was PAF Chapter Principal Mrs Seema Irfan.

The procession of graduates was led by the seniormost teacher Ms. Salma Naz followed by the Chief Guest, HM, SM, Teachers and the Graduates.

Mr. Anwar Ahmed Zai handed over the honours to the high achievers, whereas the graduates were awarded certificates by Headmistress Ms. Zehra Tariq and Ms. Naimat Shamoon (Headmistress PECHS A-Level Campus).

Daniyal Salman of batch 2013 and Yasir Yousuf Thara of batch 2012 were the happy valedictorians who shared a few memories and experiences of their time at the school.

The Vote of Thanks was proposed  the event organisers Ms. Rabeel Shaikh, Ms. Sana Zafar and Ms. Rijaa Kaleem. The formal conclusion of the Graduation Ceremony 2013 was announced by Ms. Zehra Tariq, followed by the jubilant tossing of graduation caps.

A host of print and electronic media representatives were present to cover the entire event.
