Internship programmes are a great contribution to students’ personal and professional development that provide them with real world experiences and an opportunity to enhance their skills like adaptableness, ingenuity, communication and teamwork ensuring better university placements and a better future.
The Heads of Careers Counselling and A Level, together with the Studies team in the Central Region organised the Internship Fair 2018 at Ravi Campus, Lahore on Friday April 27. The event was a roaring success; attended by over 500 O and A Level students from Lahore schools.
Many private and multinational organisations of Pakistan set up their stalls to market the opportunities they have for the students. WWF Pakistan, Care Foundation, Lahore Students Union, Akhuwat – AISEM, Todd’s Welfare Society, SOS Children’s Villages, FINCA, Akhuwat Clothes Bank, Team Burhan Shah, Lahore Conservation Society, Alif Laila Book Bus Society, The Smart Schools, Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Aaghaz, My Voice Unheard, EFU Life Insurance Ltd., Thermasol, Andaz Tech, Andaz Daily Times, Hico Ice-cream, FAS Tube Mills and Engineering Industry and The City School were present at the event.
The Fair provided a platform to the students to explore different careers by applying for summer internship programs and get registered.
