International Cricket and Excursion Tour to Singapore and Malaysia 2015

The Under-13 and Under-15 cricket teams (boys) from Darakhshan Campus went on an eight-day International Cricket Tour to Singapore and Malaysia. The teams set off for the tour to Singapore on 8 June 2015. The three-day stay in Singapore was packed with exciting activities such as a visit to the scenic Sentosa Island and Madame Tussauds, and a ride on the Singapore Flyer where they viewed the borders of Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. They also visited Thian Hock Keng, the oldest Chinese temple in the country. On the fourth day, with high spirits and great enthusiasm, the teams boarded a bus for Malaysia.

The teams from The City School were warmly welcomed in Malaysia by the host team. Both teams played two matches, each winning one match. U-13 played against Tuanku Cricket Club at the Tuanku Ja’afar College, Mantin, while U-15 played at Kinrara Oval against Kinrara Cricket Club. The trip came to a wonderful end with a city tour, which included visits to the King’s Palace, Petronas Towers and Genting Highlands.
