Drug Abuse Awareness Programme 2019

The City School collaborated with Karim Khan Afridi Welfare Foundation (KKAWF) for Drug Abuse Awareness Programme 2019 to create awareness about drug abuse in young people that leads to devastating consequences. Karim Khan Afridi Welfare Foundation (KKAWF) is a non-profit organization based in Islamabad, affianced with WHO and other international and national organizations in the mission to raise drug abuse awareness amongst teenagers in Pakistan. Mrs Cristina Von Sperling Afridi (Founder, KKAWF) conducted interactive sessions with the students of RAVI Campus, DHA Campus, Muslim Town Campus, Model Town Boys Campus, A Level Gulberg Campus and Shalimar Campus on 27th and 28th February 2018, apprising them about teenage challenges, peer pressure and dangers of legal and illicit drugs. She developed a skill among students on how to SAY NO TO DRUGS and encouraged them to adopt a healthy lifestyle by remaining active in sports.
