Students from North Nazimabad Senior Girls Campus went on a much-anticipated trip to Lahore, Islamabad and Murree from 13–16 October 2016. They were accompanied by the Headmistress, three teachers and two officials from the Southern Region Office.
Their first stop was Lahore where they savoured the famous cuisines and explored the rich culture of the city. They visited the Badshahi Mosque, Lahore Fort, Delhi Gate, Shahi Hammam, Minar-e-Pakistan, and the streets of Old Lahore. They especially enjoyed the sightseeing tour of Lahore by the double-decker bus.
On their way to Islamabad, they stopped at the Kallar Kahar Lake and the Khewra Salt Mines. They also visited the famous Shah Faisal Mosque and left for Murree the next day.
The students had breakfast at PC Bhurban and afterwards they thoroughly enjoyed shopping, eating ice cream, having coffee and taking selfies in the cold weather of Murree. The highlights of the trip were the chairlift and cable car ride at Patriata.
The students had a great time on this memorable trip and they presented souvenirs to the officials and teachers for assisting them throughout the trip.
