Dads and Divas, a father-daughter singing competition, was held on Thursday, 31 March 2016 at The City School Prep Girls North Nazimabad Campus, Karachi. Fathers paired up with their daughters for the exciting singing competition and sang slow and fast-paced songs together. The father-daughter duo gave stellar performances and the audience enjoyed them thoroughly. The participation of fathers was highly motivating for the students and was appreciated by everyone. Mothers were also invited to enjoy the singing competition and to cheer for the participants. Mr Amir Tariq (Regional Coordinator Music) was the judge for the event and Ms Azarmeen Moini Chawla (Senior Manager Co-curricular) was the Guest of Honour.

Mr Amir Tariq and Ms Azarmeen Moini Chawla awarded certificates and trophies to the winners. Mr Amir Tariq enjoyed the competition and was impressed by the idea behind the event. Erfa Iftikhar (Headmistress) presented a bouquet to the judge and the Guest of Honour and thanked everyone for attending. The programme came to an end with refreshments for the guests and the participants.

Arranging a singing competition was a good way of nurturing the special relationship between fathers and daughters, further strengthening their bond.
