IMPACT of the training programmes

At CEPD we carry out research to find the effects and impact of training programmes on improvement in teaching, learning and leadership practices. As a result of all training programmes participants are required to either present a portfolio of practice and reflection, write a research proposal or research essays or put up a school improvement plan. We monitor the implementation of these through formal follow up visits, classroom observations, lesson study groups, focus groups and evaluation questionnaires. Results of this evaluation serves as next level of training needs analysis.

All training programmes are conducted after careful pre-TNA, TNA and post-TNA stages conducted by CEPD. Results of school evaluation framework and school improvement plans shared by TCS School Improvement teams feed into the needs analysis and intervention framework.

Research toolkit as prepared by Cambridge Assessment International Education has been adapted to be made fit to TCS perspective to measure the impact of training on school improvement.
