Mubeen ul Haq, a student of Class 9 at PECHS Boys Campus, won 1st prize in the national-level art competition ‘Iqbal & Shakespeare on Kid’s Canvas 2014’. The competition was organised in March by the Skills Art Club of Pakistan.
The students were asked to choose any stanza, quotation, or verse from the works of Allama Muhammad Iqbal and William Shakespeare and illustrate it in a drawing or painting. The verse/quote had to be included in the artwork and could be in English or Urdu. The contest was open for students from Class 3 to 10.
The winning artworks have been included in the Skills Art Club calendar 2014.
