The City School collaborated with the Karim Khan Afridi Welfare Foundation (KKAWF) to organise hour-long, interactive drug abuse awareness seminars on 1 and 2 March 2017 at various Lahore campuses. KKAWF is a non-profit organisation based in Islamabad which is owned and operated by Mrs Cristina Von Sperling Afridi.
Mrs Cristina Afridi shared useful information regarding one’s teenage years, her life’s tragedy and reasons for drug abuse among individuals. She helped students understand the dangers of both legal and illicit drugs, motivating them to say no to drugs.
The seminars were a great learning experience for senior students of the Ravi, Muslim Town, Alpha and A Level Gulberg campuses.
